The "Pretty" Manik Kurung Collection

Now, another different collection of Baju Kurung, this time with "manik" or beads - and sequins (or "labuci")!

This album showcase the whole collection for the "Pretty" Manik Kurung. There are limited quantities to each item because of its exclusivity. What makes them special is that not only they are "Pretty", but also so comfortable (made with love with English Cotton). Each design were carefully sewn with beautiful embroidery at the neck area, borders and wristlet area, and topped off with pretty embellishments such as sequins and beads. If you zoom in, these beads and sequins were sewn with a 3 Dimentional twist hence making them more delicate and should be given more care. So for those who are looking for something more exclusive, this collection is for your kids!

The "Playful" Plain Kurung Collection

All kids have special characteristics that seem to always radiate wherever they go. This post (and the following one to follow) will talk about kids fashion (in conjunction with the Ramadhan month and upcoming Eid-Ul-Fitr) which reflect as how kids should naturally be - fun, whimsical, stylish, colourful and beautiful!

Here's a little history/info for my non-Malaysian readers...(of course you can always Google)

In Malaysia, Muslims are the highest population and every year Ramadhan and Eid-Ul-Fitr (among various nationwide celebrations) are celebrated to mark the start and end of the fasting month and welcoming the new month of Syawal (just like any other Muslims all around the world). On this special occasion, Muslims nationwide will organize "open houses" and dress up nice and beautifully, including children! 

The traditional clothing worn (by women and little girls) are called the "Baju Kurung" which consists of a demure and modest top and long "skirt" are usually made from colourful and different types of material. Although the Baju Kurung (with different variation of styles) is mainly worn during Eid-Ul-Fitr, nontheless generally women and little girls would wear it all year round.(Phew! I hope I got my facts right..heheh)

Soooooo, since Ramadhan is here and Eid-Ul-Fitr will arrive soon, I am proud to reveal the whole collection of...

The following collection showcases all the "Playful" splash of colours which brings out the playful side of kids. These vibrant colours will definitely brighten up your kids' style this Eid-Ul-Fitr!
